A Special Event Application is required when an event includes additional risk factors that may impact public safety, municipal services, or regulatory approvals.
Risk Factors Include:
- public food service
- alcohol service
- road closures
- amusement rides or inflatables
- fireworks
- drone shows
- animals
- personal service vendors
Together CK
Together CK provides funding for eligible community projects, events, and organizations that make a positive impact in Chatham-Kent. The program is intended to help deliver initiatives that benefit residents and strengthen local communities.
Chatham-Kent-based community organizations and not-for-profit corporations may be eligible to apply for funding through the Together CK grant portfolio, which includes annual grants for Community Projects, Community Events, and Significant Events, as well as Together CK Core Grants, which provide operational support through a four-year funding term.
